One Vision, PKB Welcomes PKS Law On Prabowo Halalbihalal Tomorrow

JAKARTA - PKB Deputy Chairman Jazilul Fawaid welcomed the attitude of PKS which also invited the elected President, Prabowo Subianto to the halalbihalal event at the PKS DPP Office at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, tomorrow.

According to him, PKS's steps, such as PKB, are traditional that competitions in the presidential and legislative elections have no effect on friendship. This has been proven by Prabowo's visit to the PKB DPP office which was received directly by General Chairperson Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin after being appointed as President-elected by the KPU.

"So it has been completed, the political process has been constitutionally completed, but of course after this election it must be cool, now that is one thought between Pak Prabowo and gus Muhaimin that after the presidential election the situation must be cool, because people must also return to work as before, economic as well," said Jazilul at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, April 26.

"Well, I think PKS has a vision related to that. I don't want a commotion after the presidential election. Pak Prabowo's language yesterday ended with a smile with Mr. Muhaimin," he continued.

Even so, Jazilul did not know whether PKS would state support and join the government that Prabowo would lead or not. What is certain, he said, is that all political parties, except those who were not present in the determination of the winner of the 2024 presidential election at the KPU, had already received Prabowo-Gibran's victory.

"I don't know exactly, but what is clear is that all parties except those who sue the Administrative Court, yes, this has accepted the KPU's decision. We PKB received it directly represented by the secretary general, the candidate pair was also present, meaning it was finished," explained Jazilul.

Regarding joining or not joining, added Jazilul, there is momentum and further process. According to him, even though Prabowo has been declared president-elect, today the general chairman of Gerindra is still serving as minister of defense.

"For PKB, during good discussions with PKS, both with Pak Prabowo, we will face a new era after the presidential election, with different economic consequences and challenges. In conclusion, facing these challenges must unite, must collaborate, both outside and within the government, the interests of the people are prioritized," said the deputy chairman of the MPR.

Regarding that only PDIP will become an opposition because it is not present at the KPU, Jazilul believes that this cannot be concluded. According to him, the presence of PDIP and Paslon 03 or the Administrative Court lawsuit is another matter.

"I (PKB) was present, those who had not been present in person were the pair Pak Ganjar-Mahfud and PDIP. PPP participated, PPP had received it. But it cannot be concluded that it does not accept, that's another thing," he concluded.
