Woman Giving Birth At Mount Slamet Climbing Post 3 Successfully Evacuated By Joint Officers

PURBALINGGA - Karangreja Police personnel helped evacuate a woman giving birth at Mount Slamet Climbing Post 3, Kutabawa Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency, Sunday, January 29. The evacuation was carried out together with the joint SAR team and the Purbalingga BPBD.

Karangreja Police Chief AKP Catur Subagyo said the evacuation was carried out after receiving information that a woman gave birth at Mount Slamet Climbing Post 3. The woman is Sartini, a resident of Kutabawa Village, RT 18 RW 5, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency.

"The woman who gave birth is a trader at Mount Slamet Climbing Post 3," explained the police chief.

It was conveyed that after receiving the information, officers from the Karangreja Police, the Purbalingga BPBD, and the combined SAR carried out the evacuation at 09.30 WIB. The evacuation was completed at 14.00 WIB by bringing the mother and baby down from the climbing post in a safe condition.

"The mother and baby were finally evacuated safely by the joint team," he explained.

The police chief added that after being evacuated, the local village midwife examined and treated. Because her condition was good and there was no need for further treatment, the mother and baby were brought home.
