Prisoners In Kerobokan Bali Become Fraud Mastermind Of Buying And Selling Mobile Phones In The Name Of Putra Siregar's PS Store
JAKARTA - An inmate with the initials AD at the Kerobokan Penitentiary, Bali, is again facing the law. Even though he is serving his sentence in the Kerobokan Prison, it turns out that AD can still commit fraud.
The proof is that AD has again cheated through an account in the name of the PS Store owned by Putra Siregar and controlled by him from the Kerobokan Prison, Bali.
Fraud with the PS Store fake account mode on Instagram is used by AD to deceive the public online. Even AD is the main brain in this online fraud mode.
"The suspect has the initials AD, a convict at the Kerobokan Bali Prison. The person concerned included the Identity Card (KTP) in the name of Putra Siregar to smooth out his fraud," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Grand Commissioner Pol Erwin Kurniawan to VOI, Monday 1 November.
The disclosure of this fraud stems from the report of a victim named Bonar Kristiantoro to the East Jakarta Police Headquarters. That he was deceived by someone on behalf of Putra Siregar.
Then the case was investigated by the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. From the results obtained from (transactions) at the BCA Pondok Gede ATM, several evidences were developed.

"From the development, we got the names of three suspects with the initials AD, JB and SR. They work separately in several cities," he said.
In the action, AD is assisted by JB and SR, his friends. JB's job is to collect the money and withdraw the money transferred by the victim. JB is positioned in Sidrap, Sulawesi.
Meanwhile, the suspect SR played a role in making ATMs and Simcards. SR also created a fake PS Store account.
"The victim's suspicions arose after clarifying to the official PS Store and it was found that this was a fake PS Store. The victim's loss was Rp1.8 million," he said.
The two suspects with the initials JB and SR were also arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. JB and SR are already in the detention cell of the East Jakarta Police Headquarters. Meanwhile, the suspect AD is still in Kerobokan Prison, Bali.
"The total loss is estimated at billions, the suspects have been operating for more than 2 years. But what investigators can prove is Rp360 million. So the mode is buying and selling cellphones through PS Store accounts which were turned out to be forged," he said.
Meanwhile, from the confession of the suspect AD to the police at the Kerobokan Prison, Bali, he admitted that he had committed fraud by using a fake ID card.
"Using a fake ID card that I bought, I used it online after the account. So I gave access to JB, the account was used for fraud on behalf of the Instagram PS Store Jakarta," said the suspect AD. As a result of his actions, the three suspects were charged with Article 378 in conjunction with Article 28 of the Law ITE number 11 of 2008.
