News From Airlangga: Australia Will Allow Its Citizens To Travel To Indonesia
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said Australia would allow its citizens to travel to various countries including Indonesia.
This was conveyed by Airlangga in a virtual press statement, after accompanying President Joko Widodo to a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Scott Morrison in Rome, Italy, Saturday, October 30.
"Regarding the vaccine travel lane, they (Australia) will revitalize it rather than tourists and they will allow their country to travel to various countries including Indonesia, especially those who have been vaccinated twice," Airlangga explained in a press statement, quoted from Antara, Sunday 31 October.
Previously the Australian government banned its citizens from traveling abroad without permission. Now the Australian government will relax the ban following rising vaccination rates.
