Wisma Atlet Hospital Today: 8 People Reduced, 200 COVID-19 Patients Are Still Being Treated

JAKARTA - Patients treated at the COVID-19 Special Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta, as of Thursday, October 14, decreased by eight people compared to Wednesday, October 13.

"Inpatients confirmed positive (COVID-19) in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 as many as 200 people, while the original number (one day earlier) was 208 people. There was a reduction of eight inpatients", said the Head of Information for the Joint Defense Area Command I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, as quoted by Antara, Jakarta, Thursday, October 14.

He also said that from March 23, 2020, to October 14, 2021, the number of patients referred to the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital was 128,393 people.

Of that number, 126,558 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1,039 patients were referred to other hospitals.

The head of information for Kogabwilhan I TNI noted that 596 patients died at the Wisma Athlete Emergency Hospital as of October 14, 2021.

On the same occasion, Aris also conveyed the development of the situation at the Galang Island Special Infection Hospital (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands.

The number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital as of Thursday was 165 people.

"There are 165 inpatients, of which 97 are men and 68 are women. All 165 patients have been confirmed positive for COVID-19", said Aris as quoted from his written statement.

The head of information for Kogabwilhan I TNI noted that in the last 24 hours the number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital decreased by 59 people.

"As of October 14, 2021, there were 165 inpatients, originally (one day before) 224", he said.

From April 12, 2020, to October 14, 2021, the Galang Island Hospital received a total of 16,915 patients. Of that number, 16,486 patients have completed 16,707 isolation, and 42 patients were referred to other hospitals, said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, Thursday.

RSKI Galang Island reported that until October 14, 2021, one patient died due to COVID-19.
