Strong Competition Names Of Candidate For Substitute Commander Of Hadi Tjahjanto, Which DPR Approves?
JAKARTA - The names of a number of high-ranking officials in the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) are widely reported to be the TNI Commander replacing Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, who will retire in November.
Some of the names that are often heard include General Andika Perkasa, Admiral Yudo Margono, to Lt. Gen. Eko Margiyono.
Currently, the DPR RI is waiting for a letter from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) offering the name of the candidate for the TNI Commander. When the name of the candidate for the TNI Commander in Chief enters Senayan, the members of the Council will hold a fit and proper test at the DPR Commission.
The following are the names that are predicted to be candidates for the TNI Commander, namely the first, KSAD General Andika Perkasa. Andika's name is said to be the strongest to fill the commander's position.
Second, KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono. The entry of Yudo Margono in the stock exchange for the candidate for the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces is related to the dimension rotation.
Speaking of dimension rotation, the current TNI Commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, is from the Indonesian Air Force. The TNI commander before Hadi, General (Ret.) Gatot Nurmantyo, came from the Indonesian Army. If according to the dimension rotation, the next TNI Commander must come from the Navy.
In addition to the two names above, there is a three-star general, Lieutenant General Eko Margiyono, who is now the head of the TNI. Eko Margiyono is said to be quite capable of leading the TNI.

Meanwhile, he said that Andika's position would be filled by Lieutenant General Dudung Abdurachman, who is now the Commander of Kostrad.
