Using A Speed Boat, Hundreds Of Kilograms Of Methamphetamine From Thailand Enter Aceh Waters
JAKARTA - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) together with Customs and Excise thwarted drug smuggling attempts by the Thai and Aceh drug syndicates. From the results of the disclosure, BNN confiscated 324.3 kilograms of evidence of methamphetamine.
Head of National Narcotics Agency, Petrus Reinhard Golose, said that the initial disclosure of the BNN intelligence investigation to an Acehnese with the initials SY (36). SY initially sailed from Thai waters to East Aceh by speedboat, last Thursday, August 12.
Upon arrival in East Aceh, SY was arrested by BNN officers at the ship repair shop in Kampung Jalang Village, Idi Rayeuk District.
"From the suspect's hands, 100 packs of green Chinese tea were confiscated, divided into 4 sacks with a total of 105.5 kilograms", Petrus Reinhard Golose told reporters, Thursday, August 19.

The suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) and Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Narcotics Law No. 35 of 2009 with a maximum threat of the death penalty.
