Mi Pad 5 Uses Stylus, It's Really Like The Apple iPad Pro
JAKARTA - Soon the first tablet from Xiaomi, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be launched on the market, and it is claimed that it will compete with Apple's iPad Pro.
No doubt, in terms of design and accessories, the Xiaomi tablet is quite similar to Apple. Through the Chinese social media site Weibo, Xiaomi has shared a teaser image of an accessory that will likely be included with the Mi Pad 5 as proclaimed by TechRadar on Tuesday, August 10.
One of them is a keyboard that is integrated with the tablet, and a stylus pen that valiantly touches the Xiaomi tablet. Like many other leaked specs and details heard so far, the new features seem to be "inspired" by Apple.

Likely, the stylus will be called the X Pen, which is quite similar to Samsung's S Pen and Huawei Mate's M Pen. Because, the X Pen seems to have a pointed tip, making it useful for accurately applying pressure and sensitivity when sketching.
Not only that, the X Pen is wrapped in an Apple Pencil 2 design, there is a cylindrical body with one flat edge that might stick to the tablet. Meanwhile, the keyboard has a small enter key and backspace, not unlike Apple, but similar products made by Huawei.
The Xiaomi tablet keyboard also shows the Latin alphabet, meaning that the Mi Pad 5 will not only be launched in China. Interestingly, the teaser shows when the tablet will be released. Yes, today is August 10, China time.
It is known, Apple is the dominant force in the tablet market, with its iPad line which is so popular. It's not something other companies are missing out on, it's something that the Samsung Galaxy Tab line, Huawei's MatePad line, and even Lenovo's range of devices emulate.
To succeed in the tablet market, a vendor must compete with the iPad. If a new tablet fails to meet the standards set by Apple and given that Apple is a huge tech giant, it's likely that the vendor will have to accept defeat.
So for all the flashy ads and accessory temptations that Xiaomi has launched, it should also be prepared to put out a tablet that truly rivals the iPad Pro, be it in terms of design, specs, and power, or usability. Because if you miss it, Xiaomi must be prepared to go out of business for its tablet products.
