Marriage In Jakarta Mandatory Vaccination, Including Family, Guests And Officers

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government requires all families and guests as well as officers in the implementation of marriage contracts at hotels and meeting buildings to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Gumilar Ekalaya, said the regulation was contained in the Decree of the Head of Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Number 495 of 2021 which was issued on July 26, 2021. The rules are valid until August 2, 2021.

"The regulation states that families, guests, and officers must show proof of a vaccination certificate", said Gumilar as quoted by Antara, in Jakarta, Thursday, July 29.

The maximum capacity for visitors who attend is 20 percent of the room capacity and cannot be more than 30 people with permitted hours starting at 06.00-20.00 WIB.

In addition, it is not allowed to provide food on the spot, the provision of food is only allowed in a closed place and to take home.

For wedding receptions at hotels and meeting halls that have already obtained an organizing permit, they will be temporarily suspended.

In addition to the marriage contract, the regulation also regulates that employees and visitors to salons or barbershops must have been vaccinated with proof of a vaccine certificate.

 

This place of business is not located in a shopping center, it is allowed to open from 10.00-20.00 WIB with only hair care services.

Meanwhile, visitors and employees of cafes and restaurants who are not in an enclosed space must also be vaccinated with proof of a vaccination certificate.

The maximum capacity allowed is 25 percent and dine-in is limited to 20 minutes with operations until 20.00 WIB.

However, cafes and restaurants inside the building or the mall are not allowed to serve meals on the spot, but only delivery services with operations until 22.00 WIB.

Other rules in the regulation include the temporary closure of several tourist attractions, namely recreational parks, including Ragunan, Ancol, and the Thousand Islands.

Then, museums and galleries, golf, conference halls, water tourism, fitness centers, cinemas, swimming pools, children's playgrounds, water parks, and other tourist recreation areas.

Spa services, swimming pools, games, sports fields as supporting accommodation services are not allowed to be opened, although accommodation service providers are allowed to operate 100 percent.
