BELITUNG - A two-month-old baby in Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands, died from COVID-19 at the Marsidi Judono Hospital in Belitung.
"The patient died on Thursday, July 15 at 08:45 WIB after experiencing respiratory and cardiac arrest", said Director of the Marsidi Judono Belitung Hospital, dr. Hendra Sp. An through the Head of Administration of the Belitung Hospital, Ika Harniati in Tanjung Pandan, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 15.
According to her, the patient came to the Marsidi Judono Hospital in Belitung, on Wednesday, July 14, with positive antigen swab results and severe symptoms and congenital abnormalities of the intestines, so treatment was carried out in isolation room D.

Ika said that the patient experienced respiratory and cardiac arrest and was then resuscitated, but showed no improvement and was declared dead on Thursday at 09:20 WIB.
Furthermore, the patient's body is treated according to the COVID-19 health protocol.
"This patient is the 80th patient who died from COVID-19", she said.
