DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Prepares Vaccination For Foreigners

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the DKI Provincial Government plans to open a COVID-19 vaccination service for foreign citizens (foreigners) aged over 18 years.

Riza said, currently his party is still preparing criteria for foreigners to be able to get an injection of the coronavirus vaccine.

"There are criteria for foreigners over 18 years of age who can get the vaccine. Whether it's a teacher, education staff lecturer, diploma, elderly, those who are living in this vulnerable neighborhood, there are conditions that have been prepared", said Riza at City Hall, Monday, June 28.

However, Riza emphasized that currently the vaccination of foreigners has not been carried out. "This is just being processed", he said.

Currently, the DKI Provincial Government is still prioritizing COVID-19 vaccination for DKI residents aged over 18 years. All adults can register for vaccines through the JAKI application and come directly to the vaccination center. Possibly, this method will also be used by foreigners.

"The JAKI application can go to show. Apart from the application, anyone from Jakarta can come to the places where the important vaccinations are held, they will take coupons and the order, but JAKI will be prioritized", he explained

For information, foreigners who want to undergo vaccination in DKI must-have requirements, namely a Resident Certificate (SKKT) or a foreigner ID card. Making SKTT/KTP for foreigners can be seen at https://silaporlagi-dukcapil.jakarta.go.id.

Currently, DKI has vaccinated 4.105.009 people with the first dose, or 46.6 percent of the total targeted vaccination program. In the second dose, DKI has vaccinated 1.912.914 people.

In detail, the vaccination achievement for people aged 18-59 years, for dose 1 has been carried out to 3.505.132 people, and vaccination for dose 2 covers 1.377.641 people. Meanwhile, in the elderly group, vaccination dose 1 has been administered to 599.877 people and dose 2 vaccination covers 535.273 people.

Meanwhile, mutual cooperation vaccination, for dose 1 has been given to 75.757 people and dose 2 as many as 23.259 people.
