Minister Of Home Affairs Tito Issues Micro-Based Community Activity Restriction Instructions, Red Zone Areas Must Apply Work From Home For 75 Percent

JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian issued Instruction Number 13 of 2021 regarding the extension of micro-based restrictions on community activities (PPKM).

This instruction was issued following the extension of the micro-based PPKM starting today for the next two weeks, from June 15 to 28, 2021.

In the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs, the capacity of workers in the office is regulated in carrying out their activities.

For the orange zone and yellow zone, 50 percent of workers work from home or WFH. While the rest work from the office or WFO.

"For districts/cities that are in the yellow zone and orange zone, restrictions are carried out by applying WFH of 50 percent and work from office (WFO) of 50 percent", reads the ninth dictum letter a point 1.

Meanwhile, for red zone areas, the government has tightened restrictions on office activities.

"For districts/cities that are in the red zone, restrictions are carried out by applying WFH of 75 percent and WFO of 25 percent", continued the ninth dictum letter a point 2.

In addition, the Minister of Home Affairs also emphasized that the implementation of WFH and WFO should implement more stringent health protocols. As well as working time arrangements are made alternately.

Meanwhile, employees who are WFH are asked not to travel to other areas.

"When employees are WFH, they're now allowed to mobilize to other areas", reads the ninth dictum letter a point 3.
