Indonesian Restaurant Present In Oslo, Ambassador Faizasyah: From Feelings Down To The Heart
JAKARTA - Another restaurant that offers Indonesian culinary delights is present in Europe, this time in Oslo, Norway and is packaged in the concept of a shop.
Named "Boboko", this presents a menu of typical Indonesian cuisine with an authentic taste. The inauguration was carried out by the Indonesian Ambassador to Norway Teuku Faizasyah on January 30.
Boboko is located in VIA Village, one of the offices and restaurant centers in the heart of Oslo City.
Ambassador Faizasyah welcomed the opening of the Indonesian restaurant which is currently the only one in the Norwegian capital.
He explained that Boboko's opening was a continuation of the "Indonesia Spice Up Oslo Festival" which was held last year, and is planned to be held again in May 2025.
"With this restaurant, we will be more patient up Oslo. The Indonesian broken heart says, from the eyes to the heart. If in this context it goes down to the heart," said Ambassador Faizasyah during the inauguration, launching a statement from the Indonesian Embassy in Oslo on February 7.
Even though it has a typical name for Sundanese, the dishes served by Boboko are not only Sundanese dishes, but also through the archipelago, such as chicken and goat fried rice, fried noodles, penet chicken, chicken satay, maranggi satay, geprek chicken, rendang and sugary rice, burning ribs, Indomie, cireng, cilok, brick, fried tempe, soto Betawi, gado-gado, cendol ice and cold ice.
The taste presented is truly authentic like a restaurant in Indonesia, with a little adjustment so that it can be accepted by the local tongue.
