Revealing The Cause Of The Glodok Plaza Fire, New Police Examine 9 Witnesses
The West Jakarta Metro Police are still collecting and examining a number of witnesses related to the fire at Glodok Plaza Mall, Tamansari, West Jakarta.
Until now, the police have not been able to conclude the cause of the deadly fire.
"There are nine witnesses who have received information from nine people," said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi to reporters at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Friday, January 24.
The nine witnesses consisted of witnesses to the initial incident from the building and the burning witness (victim).
"We will also still summon several witnesses from the existing employees, and from existing visitors," he said.
Previously, it was reported that for more than a week after the deadly fire at Glodok Plaza Mall, Tamansari District, West Jakarta, West Jakarta Metro Police and the National Police Headquarters Laboratory had not yet processed the crime scene (TKP).

The TKP processing process has not yet been carried out to find out the main cause of the Glodok Plaza fire because joint officers are still searching for the body parts of the victims of the fire which eliminated 14 workers and visitors.
The 14 missing people were named Aulia Belinda (28) a woman, Deri Sauki (25) male, Osima Yukari (25) female, Aldrina S (29) female, Aryti (29) female, Shinta Amelia (20) female, Indira Seviana Bela (25) female, Keren Shalim J (21) female, Intan Mutiara (26) female, Desti (female), Zukhi Radja (42) male, Chika Adinda Yustin (26) female, Muljadi (56) male and Dian Cahyadi (38) female.
The joint team has also evacuated 12 body bags from the location of the fire at Glodok Plaza for more than a week.
Meanwhile, 3 bodies from 12 body bags of victims of the Glodok Plaza fire identified by the Police Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2025, identified as Zhuki F. Radja, Aulia Belinda K and Oshima Yukari.
