BNN Confiscated 89 Kg Of Crystal Meth In Bone Regency, One Perpetrator Was Shot Dead
JAKARTA - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) is reported to have confiscated as much as 89 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, as well as shot dead one of its dealers in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province (Sulsel).
"So it is true, there was a drug arrest in Bone carried out by the Central National Narcotics Agency. There were seven sacks of evidence secured with a total of 89 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Grand Commissioner E Zulpan.
Apart from confiscating the evidence, one of the suspects is suspected of having been paralyzed by the owner of the property because he fought officers during an arrest on Sunday night in a local district.
"There was one who was secured, and one who was paralyzed, was shot dead for resisting," said the middle-ranking police officer.
Asked who the suspect's initials were and where the prohibited items came from in Bone, South Sulawesi, according to him, the BNN team is currently continuing to develop the case.
"The team is still working, to find the network. The drugs enter by sea. But it is not yet known exactly where the goods will be distributed," said Zulpan.

However, the drugs are known to have entered from the Port of Nusantara Pare-pare, then taken to Bone Regency, and will be brought back to Kendari.
"These goods are sent by sea. Currently, the origin of the goods is still being developed and investigated. In accordance with the commitment of the National Police Chief, drug trafficking and abuse must be eradicated," he stressed.
Previously, the National BNN team arrested methamphetamine-type drugs in Bajoe Village, East Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at around 04.23 central Indonesia time while at dawn.
