Supreme Court Of Sanctions Ethics Five Surabaya District Court Apparatus Regarding Ronald Tannur: Chair And Deputy

JAKARTA - The Supreme Court (MA) has imposed ethical sanctions on five Surabaya District Court officials regarding the Gregorius Ronald Tannur case.

The five apparatuses are the chairman and deputy chairman as well as three staff of the Surabaya District Court.

"Basically, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has imposed sanctions on 5 people related to the Gregorius Ronald Tannur case," said the spokesman for the Supreme Court, Yanto, to reporters, Thursday, January 2.

The decision to impose the sanctions is based on the results of the examination carried out by the Supreme Court Supervisory Body against the five Surabaya District Court officials.

"The results of the examination submitted by the examination team to the head of the Supreme Court obtained results on the reported violations of the code of ethics," he said

The sanction given was that Brother R, who used to be the head of the Surabaya District Court, committed a serious disciplinary violation of the person concerned and was sentenced to a non-fake sentence of 2 years.

Then, brother D used to be the head of the Surabaya District Court for committing minor disciplinary violations. Therefore, the person concerned was given a light sanction in the form of a written statement of dissatisfaction

Formerly, the Surabaya District Court Staff committed a serious violation. Therefore, the person concerned was sentenced to severe disciplinary punishment in the form of release from office to be the executor for 12 months
