Free! Indonesian Navy Vessel Wara-wiri Outer Islands Accommodation Of Christmas And New Year's Homecommodation
JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali stated that the Indonesian Navy has prepared its ships to sail through several routes including to the outer islands during the Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays.
KSAL said that sea route transportation facilities are free, meaning that people who want to board Indonesian Navy ships to reach their destination do not need to spend money on boat tickets.
"We have prepared ships from Kolinlamil (Military Cross Command), there are several ships, then small ships also to (lay for) areas that are difficult to reach, especially the outer islands. We involve ships that can transport (the community), and (they) will be transported for free," said KSAL in response to journalists' questions on the sidelines of their activities in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 17, confiscated by Antara.
Not only providing free transportation, but the Indonesian Navy also helps provide security in water areas and ports.
"So there are several (jabats) we guard ports and ships, guard shipping traffic, especially for going back and forth during the Christmas and New Year holidays," said KSAL.
On a separate occasion, the Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Information Center (Kapuspen) Maj. Gen. Hariyanto said, the TNI deployed a total of 79,247 soldiers from three dimensions to help the Police keep the situation safe and conducive, especially in vulnerable areas and strategic areas during Christmas Day celebrations until the New Year.
He continued, the security support was provided by the TNI ahead of the day 'H', day 'H', until the end of the 2025 Christmas and New Year celebrations.
"The TNI has deployed tens of thousands of personnel throughout Indonesia from land, sea and air, according to the needs of each region, with a total of 79,247 personnel, consisting of 56,511 Army soldiers, 19,793 Navy soldiers, and 2,943 Air Force soldiers," said Kapuspen on Monday, December 16.
