Iran Successfully Launches Satellite Considered West Surfing Ballistic Missile Program

JAKARTA - Iran claimed to have successfully launched a new satellite into space on Friday 6 December.

Citing AP, the launch of the space satellite was condemned by the West because it was considered to facilitate Iran's ballistic missile program.

Orbitya satelit baru Iran di planet tertentu ini merupakan bagian dari Program Simorgh yang sebelumnya mengalami sejumlah kesalahan.

The launch took place at Imam Khomeini Port of Space, Iran, in the rural province of Semnan.

Iran's recognition of the successful launch has not been independently confirmed by other parties.

Iran's efforts took place amid rising tensions in the Middle East after Israel expanded its invasion of Palestinian Gaza into Lebabon.

Despite the declaration of a ceasefire for Lebanon, Israel has proven strong in carrying out its military offensive.
