Apple Launches Carbon Neutral Mac Mini M4

JAKARTA After launching the iMac M4, Apple is now releasing the latest generation Mac Mini. Just like the iMac model they introduced, the newly released Mac Mini uses the M4 and M4 Pro chipsets.

Apple says its new device has been redesigned to pack a better performance load into a 5x5-inch device. Especially for the Mac Mini M4 Pro, this device includes Thunderbolt 5 which supports the speed of data transfer.

This latest generation Mac Mini is claimed to be the first carbon neutral Mac with more than 80 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, both in manufacturing, transportation, and all the materials used. According to Apple, this device is an important environmental milestone.

The new minimac features outstanding performance in its very small design thanks to Apple's silicon power efficiency and innovative new thermal architecture, said John Ternus, Apple's Senior Vice President for Hardware Engineering.

Ternus added that the performance of Mac Mini M4 and M4 Pro is better than the previous generation because its connectivity has been improved at the front and rear. Just like other Apple devices, this Mac Mini also gets the Apple Intelligence feature.

Apple Intelligence leverages the power of silicon Apple and Neural Engine which makes the system smarter. This feature also makes users more productive in communicating and expressing themselves without fear of privacy issues.

Even though it has been introduced to the public, the Mac Mini M4 is not yet widely available, it has not even been traded. Apple will open its ordering period on November 8 at a price of 599 US dollars (Rp9.4 million).
