Google Photos Website Can Now Automatically Backup Photo Folders

JAKARTA Google Photos for the web version has received a new feature. Starting Friday, October 18, the Google Photos website can back up all folders on the computer automatically to save photos.

This ability will work when users visit the Photos web via Chrome. Google will read the user's actions, such as what folders are usually selected to upload images and videos.

In addition to reading user actions, this cloud-based photo storage platform can also perform automatic removal through the available features. Users will see the Upload button at the top of the Google Photos display.

Quoting from 9to5google, users will see the backup Folder menu when tapping the Upload button. Before selecting the folder you want to backup automatically, the user must allow Google Photos to back up the folder you want to select.

If you have given permission, when the user accesses the button again, the Backup Folder window will appear and show selected files. Users can delete unwanted files and add new files.

Features back up folders are automatically available on the Google Photos web as long as users access them via Chrome. It seems that there are no device restrictions because the features can be accessed on Windows or Chromebook devices.

This is the right solution for users who are lazy to back up photos independently. If you haven't seen this feature, you need to wait until the features are widely available.
