Apple Releases IOS And IPadOS 18.1 Beta 7 With Apple Intelligence

JAKARTA Apple released the seventh beta version for iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 on Monday, October 14. Initially, this operating system (OS) update was released for developers, but is now available to the public.

Reporting from MacRumors, the seventh update was launched about a week after the sixth beta was shared to the public. To use the latest versions of iOS and iPadOS beta, registered users can open the Software Update menu via Settings.

Users registered in beta can access Apple Intelligence technology if their devices are adequate. The innovation that presents this Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based feature can only be accessed on the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 series.

Apple Intelligence provides features that support the productivity of its users such as Writing Tools. This feature can create and edit text, check spelling, improve grammar, rewrite text, or summarize text.

Siri also received an update thanks to Apple Intelligence. This virtual assistant can now respond to commands or conversations in the form of text, using a more natural language model, summarizing articles, and some other capabilities.

Some of the other AI-based features that users can access are the ability to create slide shows based on text descriptions in the Photo application and the ability to describe to summarize phone calls.

There are still many AI features accessible on iOS and iPadOS 18.1 beta 7, such as Playground, Genmoji, and others. For now, Apple Intelligence is only available in English. Developers in the European Union and China cannot access Apple Intelligence in this beta version.
