The DMX Rapper Was Rushed To The Hospital

JAKARTA - Rapper DMX was rushed to hospital on Friday, April 2, United States time after experiencing a heart attack.

Cited from Billboard today, April 4, the 50-year-old rapper allegedly overdosed on drugs before a heart attack.

DMX's lawyer also stated that he is currently undergoing treatment without mentioning whether the heart attack was related to drug consumption.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons is a famous rapper of the 1990s. Several of his albums such as It's Dark and Hell It's Hot have topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Apart from music, he has also acted in the films Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2.

Unfortunately, his career is also filled with a history of drug abuse, and has been undergoing rehabilitation back and forth for several years. DMX has also been arrested for tax fraud, robbery, reckless driving.

Finally, in 2019, DMX went into rehabilitation which caused him to have to cancel a number of concerts.
