Ministry Of Religion-Otorita Will Build Integrated Madrasas At IKN, Target To Operate 2026
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) together with the State Capital Authority (IKN) will build an integrated madrasa which is targeted to start full operation by 2026.
Director of the Madrasah Educational and Student Facilities Curriculum (KSKK) of the Ministry of Religion Muchamad Sidik Sisdiyanto said, it is projected that maximum capacity growth will be achieved in 2032.
"The construction of this Integrated Madrasah will be carried out in the State Capital (IKN) area, and the selection of this location is expected to provide easy access to education for the people of IKN and its surroundings," he said in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 8, which was confiscated by Antara.
This Islamic educational institution, he said, was designed to integrate the education levels of Raudhatul Atthfal (RA), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), to Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in a complex with complete facilities.
This development will also be equipped with an integrated mosque, which unites the function of worship and education, as well as modern sports facilities designed for various student physical activities.
"The main goal of this concept is to form an Islamic character and produce superior graduates who are ready to contribute to the nation," he said.

Sidik said the initial licensing process would use affiliates with the nearest madrasa, such as the Provincial RA Perwanida as well as several MTsN and MAN around the construction site.
"The education of madrasas with an integrated concept at IKN is expected to be able to have a significant impact in improving the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia," he said.
This Integrated Madrasah is designed to accommodate 15 students per study group (rombel) at RA level, 28 students per rombel at MI level, and 24 students per rombel for MTs and MA levels.
In the six-year projection, the number of students at each level will increase significantly, with a total capacity of 1,626 students in 2032.
"This development is a major step in supporting the vision of sustainable education at IKN, which not only imprints intelligent generation intellectually, but is also physically and physically strong," he said.
