KPK Searches South Kalimantan Governor Uncle Birin's Office

BANJARBARU - KPK investigators searched the office of the Governor of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Sahbirin Noor alias Uncle Birin after arresting four officials of the South Kalimantan Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Sunday (6/10) night.

Based on ANTARA's monitoring at the South Kalimantan Regional Secretariat (Setda) office, a number of KPK investigators were escorted by Gegana Brimob personnel from the South Kalimantan Police with complete attributes and weapons, entering the office of South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor to conduct a series of examinations.

The Brimob personnel vehicle of the South Kalimantan Police is parked in front of the South Kalimantan Regional Secretariat's Office, including the vehicles of a number of officials, also seen several personnel from the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) standing guard in front of the office, Tuesday, October 8.

After KPK investigators entered the South Kalimantan Governor's office, a number of internal officials from the South Kalimantan Regional Secretariat also entered the room for examination purposes.

As of 14.35 WITA, it was seen that KPK investigators communicated with several South Kalimantan Provincial Government officials in the room. At the door of the room, personnel from Gegana Brimob, South Kalimantan Police.

Despite the search, the situation and activities of the government at that location went normally with quite a quiet condition.
