The importance of the presence of a dealer network
The advancement of electric vehicles, which is supported by rapid digital transformation, is reshaping the landscape of the automotive industry. Even so, industry experts still think that dealers are still needed today for the sale of electric vehicles. Precisely with the presence of electric vehicles, they can present unique opportunities while strengthening their position in the market.
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer registered with Nasdaq, VinFast, presents a concrete example of how OEM and dealers can collaborate to create a profitable scenario.
"Dealers have been the backbone of the automotive industry for decades, have even helped automakers reach customers at a more personal level, build brand loyalty, and play an economic pillar for their respective community networks," said America's Head of Automotive Retail Transformation EY Branson Smith, in an official statement received on Monday, October 7.
