Leading To Pornography, YG Entertainment Take Legal Steps On Video Deepfake AI Of Their Artists
JAKARTA - A few days after JYP Entertainment, now YG Entertainment's agency has made a statement regarding deepfake videos with artificial intelligence (AI) involving their artists. They think the deepfake video leads to pornographic elements.
A new AI feature allows its users to unify two videos into one video in the same situation using an order. Videos circulating on social media are said to use deepfakes to create pornographic videos related to YG artists.
The agency stated that before giving this statement, they had tried to report and delete content online.
Hello, this is YG Entertainment. We are very worried about making deepfake video content that doesn't deserve to involve our artist," the agency said on Monday, September 2.
