Klinies Practice Dean Of FK Undip Stopped, Karia Hospital Service Continues
JAKARTA - The management of Dr. Kariadi Hospital said that the temporary suspension of clinical activities of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang Yan Wisnu Prajoko had no impact on the service of the largest referral hospital in Central Java.
The Legal and Public Relations Manager of Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang Vivi Vira Viridianti said the temporary suspension of the oncology surgeon was aimed at focusing on dealing with the investigation of AR's death, a student of the FK Anesthesian Specialist Education Program Undip Semarang which was allegedly triggered by bullying.
"This suspension has no effect on services to patients," he said in Semarang, Monday, September 2, as reported by Antara.
According to him, the team carried out oncology surgery treatment, so that it could be replaced by other team members.
He said Kariadi Hospital together with FK Undip Semarang had concentrated so that AR's death problem could be resolved immediately.
"Temporarily suspended. Later upon completion, we can join again," he added.
In addition to the temporary suspension of Yan Wisnu Prajoko's clinical activities, Vivi continued, the Ministry of Health is also still temporarily stopping the FK Anastesi FK Undip Semarang specialist education program (PPDS) at Kariadi Hospital.
"Until now, PPDS Anesthesi FK Undip is still temporarily suspended," he said.

The termination of the PPDS Anesthesi, he continued, also had no effect on the service activities of the Kariadi Hospital.
"PPDS is studying, not employed. While at Kariadi they are in the educational process," he said.
He ensured that no services for patients were disrupted, and Kariadi Hospital was still working with FK Undip to date.
Previously, the Managing Director of Kariadi Hospital Semarang issued a decree to temporarily suspend the clinical activities of the Dean of FK Undip Semarang Yan Wisnu Prajoko at the government hospital starting August 28, 2024.
The temporary suspension of the practice permit aims to make the Dean of FK Undip able to focus on investigating the case of AR's death, a student of PPDS FK Undip.
