Putting Fake Quotes, Megalopolis Film Trailer Withdraws Production House
JAKARTA - The new trailer for the film Megalopolis from director Francis Ford Coppola was withdrawn by the distributor, hours after its release. The trailer apparently contains false review quotes published by the production house.
This trailer was released on Wednesday, August 21. In addition to featuring the footage of the Megalopolis film starring Adam Driver, the video also puts some negative reviews on previous Coppola films.
The Coppola films that are included include The Goody and Goody Now. They quote some media reviews that refer to the film negatively.
However, when traced, no sentence was quoted in the video, so the quotes they made were fake.
