Mike Tyson Talking About Bruce Lee: If He Can Beat Me, Interesting

JAKARTA - Mike Tyson expressed his admiration for Bruce Lee. He said the martial arts legend enjoyed real combat.

Lee, who died at the age of 32, was best known for his acting despite his success in martial arts.

Tyson also excelled in the ring, becoming world heavyweight champion and being known as the 'Baddest Man on the Planet'.

“Bruce Lee is a martial artist, but Bruce Lee is a street fighter. He likes to fight for real. Not a drama, he likes to do it for real", said Tyson as quoted by the Daily Star, Friday, March 26.

"Bruce Lee has an extraordinary philosophy of life, it surprised me. Bruce Lee is a murderer, he hurts and does as much damage as you can and then comes out unharmed.

"You have to respect the philosophy. It is the philosophy of the supreme warrior".

Tyson's statement is the answer to a long debate about who will win the battle between him versus Lee.

Tyson believes that superiority of body size will provide absolute proof if he met Lee.

"If Bruce Lee could really beat me in a fight, I would really, um, I really think this is an interesting world because that shouldn't be the case", said Tyson speaking in 2017.

"I'm not saying to be rude or selfish ... that's the advantage of size".
