Student Demonstrators In Front Of Parliament During The DPR Plenary Session Were Chaotic
JAKARTA - Chaos had occurred between the police and students who demonstrated in front of the Senayan Parliament Building in Jakarta during the plenary meeting of the DPR RI during the first trial of 2024-2025.
Based on information compiled by Antara, initially the mass of students carried out a long march from Jalan Asia Afrika to Jalan Gelora to hold a demonstration in front of the DPR Building at around 15.53 WIB. As a result of the demonstration, the density occurred on a number of roads. However, the police did not close Jalan Asia Afrika, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda and Jalan Gelora. There was a push-up between the police and students. However, the mass of students finally withdrew so that there were no prolonged clashes.
