Minister Basuki Ensures That People Can Take IKN Autonomous Trains Are Not Charged
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said people can take the autonomous train or autonomous rail transit (ART) to celebrate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024 for free.
"Not only for guests, people can also try (autonomous trains). The cost is still free," said Mr. Bas, Basuki's nickname, quoted from Antara, Sunday, August 11.
Basuki warned that not all cars could enter the IKN State Palace area because of the inadequate area.
In order to anticipate this, the Ministry of Transportation together with the regional police will regulate mobilization.
"It will be arranged by public buses, but you can't enter all of them," said Basuki.
Basuki revealed that PUPR has prepared four pick-up stops to serve people who want to take the autonomous rail transit (ART) train in order to celebrate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
There are four bus stops that are being prepared, namely the West National Axis stop, the Nusantara Hotel stop, the Bank Indonesia bus stop, and the Grande bus stop.
