Foo Fighters And His Emotional Performance In San Diego

JAKARTA - Maybe it's been hundreds, even thousands of times Foo Fighters went on stage and performed their songs. But every stage has its own moments and energy.

Recently Dave Grohl et al successfully kicked Petco Park, San Diego with a full setlist. For three hours they invited the audience to sing, shout and enjoy memories together.

All My Life, their hits in their early careers were chosen as openings. The atmosphere immediately heats up without further ado. Foo Fighters made the audience chat with guitar riffs and aggressive screams in the song.

After that, songs such as The Pretender, Times Like These and Learn to Fly were shown instead. Before signing There Is Nothing Left to Lose, the late Taylor Hawkins' favorite song, Dave conveyed something that touched his heart.

"Maybe you've seen him (Taylor) enjoy taking time on some of your beaches," said Dave. "He's a real Southern Californian boy," he said.

Moving into the middle of the set, Foo Fighters is still with their tradition of performing popular rock medley songs, from Eruption from Van Halen to AC/DC's Thundertruck.

Until finally they got to the song The Teacher, which was dedicated to Dave Grohl's mother who died in 2022. For 10 minutes, he was dissolved in an atmosphere of emotion with the audience.

With the energy still burning, Dave led Foo Fighters to hit back on stage with Everlong as a cover. An emotional performance was successfully shown by the Seattle band.
