Held A Buru Hamas Operation, Israeli Military Asks Citizens Of Khan Younis To Re-Employ
JAKARTA - Israel Defense Forces (IDF) again asked Palestinians in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip to evacuate, as they planned to carry out military operations.
The Israeli military asked residents to flee to the humanitarian zone that Israel had previously designated.
IDF spokesman Colonel Avichay Adraee published a list of zones that need to be evacuated along with the latest announcement, which includes the outskirts of Khan Younis in al-Qarara and Bani Suheila, Abasan and Khuza'a.
The IDF will "forcely operate" against terrorist groups in the Khan Younis area, Colonel Adraee said, as reported by The Times of Israel on August 8.
In a tweet on social media, Colonel Adraee said the Hamas group and terrorist organizations continued to fire rockets from these areas, so decisive action would be taken.
Earlier, the IDF ordered Palestinians in eastern Khan Younis to evacuate, before carrying out operations there in early July. The military has been withdrawn since then.
