Apple TV Presents Web Link Opening Capability On IPhone

JAKARTA Apple TV has a variety of advanced features, but this device still cannot access Safari or other browsers. However, on tvOS 18, Apple TV can open links via connected devices. The owner of the sigjudge account on Threads, reported by 9to5mac, said that the latest tvOS 18 beta developer released on August 5 includes the ability to view links or web links, but not from within the device. This capability is seen when Apple TV users open the appearance of Immersive Videos recorded in 3D 8K resolution mode. This video can only be accessed using Vision Pro, but Apple TV includes links to promote the feature. On the Immersive Video description page, tvOS 18 now includes new buttons to view details and study Vision Pro headsets. This button will share a link that discusses Vision Pro via AirDrop to iPhone or iPad users.

For now, the feature of sharing links is only available in the description section of Immersive Videos. In the future, Apple TV may expand this feature to share content watched through various tvOS applications. In addition to including the ability to view web links via iPhone or iPad, tvOS 18 also includes several features and updates such as Insight, Smartwas, Live Captions for FaceTime, support for 21:9 ratio, the latest screen saver, and much more. In the near future, Apple will release tvOS 18 in the public beta version. Once the testing process is complete, stable version tvOS 18 will be released in the fall of the year alongside other operating systems such as iOS 18, macOS Sequiao, and iPadOS 18.
