G-Dragon Officially Holds The Rights Of All Names Of YG Entertainment

JAKARTA - G-Dragon has recently reportedly returned to music with new works soon. This news emerged after his friend, Park Myung Soo, said that the singer whose real name is Kwon Jiyong will release an album in October.

The agency that oversees G-Dragon, Galaxy Corporation responded by explaining that the news could not be confirmed because they were still in discussions.

"There hasn't been a specified time for G-Dragon comeback. It's not true that (the album) will be released in October," the Galaxy Corporation said.

"However, as announced, he will release a new album before this year ends," said the Galaxy Corporation.

On the same day, G-Dragon's previous agency, YG Entertainment confirmed reports of transfer of trademark rights or trademarks on behalf of the G-Dragon stage have been submitted with the singer since last year.

It's true that we have submitted all trademark rights to G-Dragon including G-Dragon and GD to G-Dragon, YG Entertainment said.

The transfer of trademark rights was carried out free of charge so that G-Dragon got his right to use its stage name.

Not only that, G-Dragon can also use the work he produces with YG Entertainment, including musical works and visual works for him to use in his promotions.

Galaxy Corporation had mentioned that the G-Dragon comeback plan was also carried out together with global activities and in Japan.
