Squid Game Coming In 2 Seasons, Season Two Airing December 26

JAKARTA - Netflix announced the latest news regarding the continuation of the Korean series, Squid Game. The series will come in two seasons, with a second season to be released on December 26, 2024.

An announcement video shows runners on the track running until they are preceded by Squid Game participants wearing green clothes. Not far from there, Front Man and the runners looked at the runners to monitor their movements.

In the letter, Hwang Dong Hyuk revealed several story continuations, one of which was Lee Jung Jae who played Seong Gi Hun who decided to return to the world of Squid Game to take part in the game once again.

The figure of Front Man, played by Lee Byung Hun, was also present to bring terror to the participants. The letter was accompanied by a photo of the behind the participant number 456, namely Seong Gi Hun.

Squid Game 2 will continue its previous story. 456 are determined to find out who the figure of the game is using his winning money. He started his search by looking for a man wearing a suit who invited him to play ddakji at the subway station.

Some of the new cast are Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an.

Squid Game 2 will be released on December 26, 2024 and Squid Game 3 is planned for 2025.
