PT Deka Sari Perkasa Boss Claims To Be Targeted By KPK Regarding Projects In Semarang City Government

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has finished examining the President Director of PT Deka Sari Perkasa, P Rachmat Utama Djangkar (PRUD), regarding the alleged corruption in the Semarang City Government (Pemkot) today. He admitted that investigators were questioned about the procurement project.

This was conveyed by his attorney, Arif Sulaiman, after accompanying Rachmat during an examination at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Yes (checked related, red) only projects," Arif told reporters, Wednesday, July 31.

Arif said his client was being examined as a witness. However, he agrees that he has received a notification letter for the start of the investigation (SPDP) from the KPK and is ready to follow the legal process.

"Yes, it's been (received, red) as of...last month," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK summoned 11 witnesses related to allegations of corruption at the Semarang City Government (Pemkot), Central Java on Wednesday, July 31. Among them is Martono, who is the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) of Semarang City.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of the following MTN, Director of PT Chimander777 and PT Rama Sukses Mandiri and Chairman of the Semarang Gapensi," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, July 31.

In addition, investigators also summoned the President Director of PT Deka Sari Perkasa, P. Rachmat Utama Djangkar. However, Tessa has not detailed what will be explored from the two.

Meanwhile, Martono and Rachmat, based on information circulating, are included in the list of four people who were prevented from leaving the country in this case. Meanwhile, the other two are Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu who is the Mayor of Semarang with her husband, Arwin Basri.
