In The Aftermath Of The HYBE Chaos With ADOR, Park Ji Won Resigns From The CEO Position
JAKARTA - In the midst of the HYBE conflict with their label, their CEO - Park Ji Won chose to step down and was replaced by Lee Jae Sang as CEO.
Today, Wednesday, July 24, Park Ji Won announced he is stepping down from the CEO position and is planning the development of HYBE which will be discussed at the next town hall next week.
"I don't think it's good to leave confused until town hall meetings," said Park Ji Won.
Park Ji Won said HYBE had plans for the next five years and believed HYBE 2.0 could gain success like the past three years.
"We believe the new leadership is important to push for the changes HYBE 2.0 needs," he said.

Park Ji Won became CEO of Nexon Korea in 2014. Then he joined BIGHIT MUSIC before changing his name to HYBE in May 2020.
Park Ji Won's resignation was carried out in the middle of the chaos between HYBE and one of their labels, ADOR. This started with Min Hee Jin who said HYBE deliberately made a NewJeans clone through their group.
