Teenagers Of Brawl Killed By Sickles In Cipayung, East Jakarta

JAKARTA - A teenager with the initials F died as a result of a brawl between two groups in the Lubang Buaya area, Cipayung District, East Jakarta. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 14.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman, said that the brawl that occurred on Sunday at around 03.30 WIB claimed the death toll with the initials F.

"The victim pushed the opposing group forward, brought the corbek (concrete duck) as well. Finally, he was held hostage by the perpetrators," said AKP Hotman when confirmed, Monday, July 15.

Meanwhile, based on the statements of a number of witnesses, these two groups of teenagers have been hostile to each other for a long time. Finally, they made an appointment to fight through social media. When the brawl took place, F was desperate to continue to encourage the opposing group.

"People from the opposing group were annoyed that they were pushed into the alley. He (F) was involved with the perpetrators, fell, and was beaten," he said.

The perpetrators of the brawl consisted of about a dozen teenagers from both sides. However, only four people were involved in the beating of F.

Of the four people, only P (18) and B were identified. While the other two are still being investigated further.

"Initially, P hit him with a bamboo length of about two meters, the victim fell. Baru, B (robbed) using a sickle. P only (hit) used bamboo until he fell. B, which is called nusuk, the victim uses sickles," he said.

After receiving the report, the Cipayung Police conducted a crime scene (TKP). However, upon arrival, the brawlers had fled.

Meanwhile, F had been rushed to the Kramatjati Police Hospital and was declared dead.

"Only P was caught, a child in conflict with the law (ABH). P was arrested at his home in Pinang Ranti. Baron and three others have not. Now we are developing a case to find other perpetrators," he said.

For this incident, suspect P is subject to Article 170 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.
