Moeldoko's Figure In Jhoni Allen's Eyes: He Has No Record Of Human Rights Violations

JAKARTA - The Secretary-General of the Deli Serdang Extraordinary Congress (KLB) version, Jhoni Allen Marbun, denied that he proposed to Moeldoko because he had the position of Chief of the Presidential Staff.

According to him, the approach to the four-star general was due to having a good life history.

"We don't see the matter of position, although don't be hypocritical, the position is important. But most importantly, integrity, his CV, his curriculum vitae when he performs his duties starting from 0 to the highest point," said Jhoni on the YouTube channel Refly Harun, Wednesday, March 17.

In addition, said Jhoni, Moeldoko was never reportedly involved in a human rights violation case. In fact, according to him, Moeldoko was known to listen to soldiers more than to command.

"We see Mr. Moeldoko's journey, his credibility is very good, there are no defects, especially regarding human rights, even I have seen several times that he gave speeches in his soldiers, he always listen more than he command," he said.

Jhoni assessed that Moeldoko was also a professional figure when he was Commander of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) during the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). In contrast to Gatot Nurmantyo, who tried to maneuver when he became Commander of the Indonesian National Army in the Jokowi administration.

"He (Moeldoko) still maintains the interests of the state above all else, we propose to him on that basis," said Jhoni.

On that occasion, Jhoni Allen Marbun also stated that he had officially registered the management under Moeldoko's leadership with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

"We registered a few days ago by completing all the variables concerning the validity of the implementation of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB), on March 5 in Sibolangit," he said.

According to him, the implementation of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) was in accordance with the rights of members in returning the Democratic Party to a democratic party.

"Because of that, this problem is actually an old problem. So, as my younger siblings said there, Democrat Party (Partai Demokrat/PD) is in accordance with its name; democratic, open, anyone can enter," said Jhoni.
