Israeli Attacks Continue In Rafah To Dozens Of People Died, Residents Move To Khan Younis

JAKARTA - Israeli troops continue to carry out their attacks on two northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian health officials said the shooting of tanks in Rafah killed 11 people.

Residents and Hamas media said tanks moved further west towards Shakoush's neighborhood in Rafah, forcing thousands of refugees there to flee their tent camps and head north to nearby Khan Younis.

A resident, speaking to Reuters via a chat app, said several bulldozers in the Shakoush area were piling up sand to be placed behind Israeli tanks.

"Several families live in attack areas and are now surrounded by occupation forces," he said.

The situation there is very dangerous and many families have left for Khan Younis, even from the Munawa area because things are becoming unsafe for them, said the man, who moved north overnight.
