Already Seen On IOS 18 Beta 2, The RCS IPhone Feature Can't Be Used

JAKARTA Apple has promised the launch of Rich Communication Services (RCS) into iOS 18. Although the company has launched iOS 18 beta 2, users still haven't seen RCS support. Unlike SMS, RCS is a better and richer communication service. This latest generation messaging standard can transmit text with various media attachments using only data or Wi-Fi. Therefore, many are waiting for the presence of RCS on the iPhone because users no longer need to contact Android phones via SMS. Unfortunately, there have been no signs of launch of RCS since the first beta test was released. However, there has been little progress in the second test. Some developers have seen the RCS button in Settings. This button can only be seen by a small number of developers and cannot be used even though the feature has been activated.

Reporting from 9to5mac, this feature is still not available because RCS support relies on bundles updated by other operators. This needs to be done so that RCS services can be used, but only a few operators update their plans. So far, only two operators have updated their plans, namely AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. The operators still have time to update their plans, but it is not known for sure when the deadline will be given by Apple. RCS support should be active by September when iOS 18 launches. Apparently, this service can already be used at the launch of iOS 18 beta public launched in July.
