Employees Were Hit By A Transjakarta Bus While Crossing The Road In Front Of Jatinegara Station
JAKARTA - An employee was found lying down after being hit by a Transjakarta bus on the Kampung Melayu - Pulo Gebang route on the busway route, to be precise in front of Jatinegara Station, East Jakarta, Thursday, June 20, morning.
"The victim was a woman of Chinese descent. Her wound was in the back of the head, taken to Hermina Hospital, Kampung Melayu," said Kasnan, one of the ojol drivers to VOI at the scene.
The process of evacuating victims was hampered because the ambulance that was awaited did not come. The accident was a spectacle for residents and other passing motorists.
However, the furious residents then immediately worked with the victim's body and raised it into bajaj. The unknown victim had to be evacuated using bajaj.
Ahmad, a resident around the location, said the same thing. According to Ahmad, the victim is a female employee who wants to go to work.

"The employee, her clothes were neat. She just got off the train to cross the road. Then she grazed and fell into the busway lane, the bus stopped. The victim was unconscious," he added.
Ahmad said that the accident of a person being hit by a Transjakarta bus at this pedestrian illegal crossing had happened three times.
"Hopefully, the JPO will soon be built specifically for pedestrians. Because three times people have been hit by a busway like this," he hoped.
After the incident, the Transjakarta bus on the Kampung Melayu - Pulo Gebang route that hit the victim was again on its way.
