FBR And Forkabi Clashes At Pasar Minggu, Allegedly Starting From Stabbing And Harassment Of Women
The clashes between the two community organizations (Ormas) FBR and Forkabi occurred on Jalan Raya TB Simatupang, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday afternoon, June 18. The clashes began when one of the members of the mass organizations stabbed the victim who was also a member of the mass organization.
"Yes, that's right, there is a bit of tension between the two mass organizations, which was triggered by persecution by members of mass organizations A against members of mass organizations B which created wrong solidarity. So there was a riot in order to retaliate," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro when confirmed, Wednesday, June 19.
Bintoro ensured that the clashes that occurred on Tuesday, June 18 did not result in casualties. Because Bintoro said, the South Jakarta Police quickly suppressed the clashes.
"Because the police arrived on time and managed to break up the clash," he said.
Regarding the perpetrators of the persecution, Bintoro continued, the perpetrator with the initials U has been arrested. Currently, it is still in the process of further investigation.
"We have secured and processed the perpetrators, the initials are U. Meanwhile, the victims of the persecution have received treatment. Because they suffered 7 stab wounds," he said.

Furthermore, based on the temporary examination of the perpetrators, Bintoro said the motive for the alleged stabbing was based on the perpetrator who was hurt by the victim for harassing women.
"From the statement of the perpetrator, he said it was because of the problem that there were women who were insulted or harassed by saying they were offered 250 thousand. But we are still investigating it," he said.
Therefore, to ascertain the truth of the perpetrator's statement, the police are still conducting investigations at the Pasar Minggu Police.
"We will hand over the abuse to the police who handle it," he said.
