The Joint Team Continues The Search For 12-Year-Old Boy Missing While Swimming At Kali Adem Penjaringan

JAKARTA - Basarnas DKI Jakarta together with a joint team have resumed their search for a child who drowned in Babakan Kali Adem Waters, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta City, Wednesday, June 19.

"Yesterday's search on Tuesday (June 18) is still nil, has not been found and the search continues today," said Head of the Operations Section (Kasiop) of the DKI Jakarta Basarnas, Agung Priambodo.

He said his party had deployed a team to look for a victim named Bunga Febriyan (12) who drowned on Monday, June 17, at around 11.30 WIB.

This victim jumped from the boat to swim with his friends, then never reappeared from the water.

"The joint SAR team was deployed to continue the search until the third day," he said.

The search was carried out by sweeping using rubber boats along the Babakan Kali Adem waters.

In addition, officers also made visual observations by sweeping by land up to a radius of 500 meters from the scene.

"Communicative SAR personnel were deployed in an effort to search for victims," he said.

A number of joint personnel deployed consisted of the Jakarta Basarnas, the Sunda Kelapa Regional Police, PolAir Polda Metro Jaya, BPBD DKI Jakarta, PMI North Jakarta and the community.
