LPSK Will Provide Direct Witness Protection If There Is A Threat In The Vina Cirebon Case
JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) will provide emergency protection to 10 witnesses in the murder case of Vina Cirebon and Eky, if there is a direct threat to the witnesses.
"If suddenly there is a sudden threat, then we can. We will examine if there is a real threat, the victim witness," said Deputy Chairperson of LPSK, Susilaningtias to reporters, Friday, June 14.
Currently, the LPSK team is still conducting an assessment of 10 witnesses and the families of the victims of the Vina and Eki Cirebon murder cases.
However, 7 LPSK leaders have not yet decided regarding the submitted application. The decision was accepted or not after the LPSK leadership meeting was held and the assessment process was carried out for the next 30 days.

However, if there is a direct threat that endangers the safety of witnesses and the victim's family, they will be placed in a safe house.
"You can put it in a safe house, you can monitor it at home," he said.
