Elon Musk Threatens To Ban Apple Devices If Integrated With OpenAI
JAKARTA - Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk said he would ban Apple devices from his company if his devices were integrated with OpenAI on OS.
The threat comes after tech giant Apple announced its new partnership with parent company ChatGPT, OpenAI at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024.
If Apple integrates OpenAl at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned in my company. That is an unacceptable security breach," Musk said in a statement on X.

Musk also added, "And visitors have to check their Apple devices at the door, where the device will be stored in Faraday's cage."
During its annual event, Apple will officially announce its partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into its devices.
WWDC 2024 this time is more important than the previous event, as the iPhone maker is trying to convince investors that they haven't lost their AI rivalry with Microsoft, although they may have lost some laps.
