Women Who Are Victims Of Alleged Malpractice In South Jakarta Come To Polda Metro Jaya To Find Justice

JAKARTA - A woman with the initial Y is suspected of being a victim of malpractice at the TCB clinic in the South Jakarta area. Victim Y complained about the condition of her face, especially the nose after undergoing surgery.

Y and his attorney, came to the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya to find out the extent of the legal process. Victim Y said the operation was carried out in 2022 and was handled by a doctor with the initials DM.

Dedy JS Jachya, one of the victim's attorneys, said that his party's arrival at the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya was to appeal to investigators. Because, it has been a year since a report letter was made but the process has not yet been running.

The report letter was made by the legal team and victim Y at Polda Metro Jaya with the number LP/B/2655/V/2023/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated May 15, 2023. The case was handled by the Sub-Directorate of Renakta of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.

The report in the criminal case was due to negligence, resulting in serious injuries as referred to by the Health Law.

"It was reported that a year ago this report (however) had not moved (processed), this report was from May 2023. To this day there has been no bright spot to what extent, so today we ask again," said Dedy to VOI, Tuesday, June 10.

Dedy said, after the operation, the victim had been sick for more than 2 years.

"Because there was no follow-up from the clinic, this woman made a report to the Polda Metro Jaya, because the crime scene was in South Jakarta, this clinic," he said.

The victim admitted that until now the impact of the alleged malpractice, Y's health condition began to be disrupted.

"The victim sought justice, because as long as the victim was sick the clinic had never given medicine or called the victim who was already severe due to this malpractice act. In fact, the victim was summoned several times, even reported back. So he sought justice where is the location of justice if the victim is already severe, not even being treated or the clinic is responsible, even dissocated many times - and reported back like this," said Dedy.

Another Y attorney, Afdhal Muhammad, added that his client was sick after undergoing beauty surgery.

"In 2022, she will carry out beauty surgery on her nose, it has been carried out in 2022. As a result, the operation has caused side effects that incidentally affect Y's life," he said.

"The implant that should be installed is straight or upright," continued Afdhal, (but) it is tilted.

"Because the attached is tilted, it causes sinusitis and the victim's nose becomes swollen, the infection is prone and difficulty breathing. In fact, now the implant breaks out or penetrates from the walls of the inside of the nose until it strands out of the nasal hole," he said.

In addition, the health impact experienced by victim Y was that his nose lost function and his life safety was threatened according to the diagnosis of a specialist doctor.

Meanwhile, according to victim Y, he hopes to get legal justice for himself who is a victim of alleged malpractice plastic surgery draining his nose with implants.

"I report here aimed at asking for justice. Because from the clinic, the admin and the doctor have not responded from our wishes. They did not respond well to what they did to me. I leave it to my attorney," he said.
