South Tangerang Firefighters Say All Nite & Day Hotels Have Not Meet Fire Protection Standards
TANGERANG - Head of the South Tangerang Fire and Rescue Service, Ahmad Dohiri, said that the All Nite & Day Alam Sutera Hotel, North Serpong, South Tangerang did not meet the fire protection standards. This happened because the inn did not have alarms and hydrants.
According to him, if the hotel has accepted the standard, then it is likely not to cause casualties.
"We even check that there is no hydrant, alarm, springkel. The standardization of the building should be four floors and above, at least there must be hydrants. So there is only fire extinguishers (light-ed fire extinguishers)," said Dohiri when confirmed, Tuesday, June 11.
Three employees of the All Nite & Day Hotel, North Serpong, South Tangerang were declared dead after the fire broke out at the inn. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 8, in the afternoon.
Those who died were suspected of being caused by smoke radiation when trapped in a hotel elevator located in the Alam Sutera area, North Serpong, South Tangerang on Saturday, June 8, in the afternoon.

The identities of the 3rd victims who died included:
1. Dimas Hariyadi, a resident of Bojong RT 001 RW 010, Kunciran Indah Village, Pinang, Tangerang City.
2. Oky Dwi Putra, a resident of the Pepabri complex, Jalan Perintis 3 Block A5, Kunciran, Pinang District, Tangerang City.
3. Hendy Ruspandi, a resident of Priyang Village RT 011 RW 08, Pondok Corn Village, North Serpong.
