Peradi Gives Legal Aid To 5 Convicts In Vina Cirebon Case
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi) Otto Hasibuan admitted that he was ready to become a team of attorneys from six convicts in the murder case of Vina Dewi Arsita alias Vina Cirebon.
However, Otto said that Peradi would become the attorneys for the five convicts when the five people officially gave power to him.
"So we have asked for power from his family so that we together with our families can meet the five convicts. Ask whether they really want to apply for a PK (Reconsideration) or not," Otto Hasibuan told reporters, Monday, June 10.
If the five convicts in Vina's murder case are willing to file a PK, then Peradi declares that he is prepared to assist legally.
The reason is, he said that the five convicts were suspected of being victims of the wrong arrest of the Vina Cirebon case.
This, according to Otto, was reinforced by statements from witnesses who said that when the murder occurred, the convicts were not at the scene.
It is known that Vina's murder took place on Saturday, August 27, 2016. According to witness testimony, at that time the five convicts were at the house of the RT chairman's son in Cirebon.

"Actually, they are sleeping at their house at the house of their son, Mr. RT," said Otto.
"So if this is true then it means that their murder is definitely not true," he concluded.
Now, the families of five convicts in the murder case of Vina Cirebon named Eko Ramadhani, Hadi Saputra, Jaya, Eka Sandi, and Supriyanto have visited the DPP Peradi Office, East Jakarta, Monday, June 10.
The five families of the convict who were accompanied by politician Dedi Mulyadi asked Peradi for legal assistance to apply for a PK (reconsideration).
